Business Process and Reengineering (BPR) Manager
SCOPE OF WORK:

Business Process and Reengineering (BPR) Department is responsible for supporting all business units in relation to completing a project initiated by business or management, Business as Usual (BAU) issues and also any process improvement initiatives.

BPR Manager is responsible for managing and supervising the related activities that BPR Tactical Team Leader and BPR Strategic Team Leader needs to take action in managing projects, BAUs and also people management. This role requires a strong individual who has a good leadership skill and has excellent business analyst skills.

Responsibilities:

For a project that is handled by more than 1 Business Analyst:

  1. Supervise Strategic Business Analysts closely on all related activities that he/she is responsible of in a project including requirement gathering and documentation, user testing and supporting implementation.
  2. Monitor and review the Business Requirement Document (BRD) and provide feedback as necessary.
  3. Ensuring that all requirements are uploaded into MQC correctly and in timely manner.
  4. Monitor and review the User Acceptance Test (UAT) Phase including reviewing the UAT script, ensuring that users get the maximum assistance from Business Analyst throughout this phase, submit, follow up and re-test defect(s) and also making sure that MQC is utilized fully to manage the UAT.
  5. Responsible for supervising Business Analyst in supporting the implementation process including the preparation of user manual or training material also assist business in preparing user access for system related project.
  6. Together with Business Analysts to monitor closely the post implementation should there is any issue that BPR is required to assist to solve or help business out.
  7. Support Business Analysts in solving issues and complaint follow-up.
  8. Liaising with all internal departments to gain feedback and provide solutions to any issues identified during their daily transaction.
  9. Update the project report status every time there is a new update and responsible to inform BPR Manager on the new update.
  10. To assist Strategic Business Analysts in estimating timelines for each tollgates and ensuring that these timelines are adhered to.
  11. To attend the working group meeting along with the Business Analyst
Leadership / Management

  1. Apply leadership and/or team membership behavior consistent with the principles of the Bank (HEART).
  2. Apply the management systems, policies and processes of the organization to effectively carry out accountabilities.
  3. Guiding, Directing, and Motivating team members (providing guidance and direction to other team members)
  4. Communicating with supervisors, peers, or subordinates (providing information to those groups of people by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person)
  5. Establishing and Maintaining interpersonal relationships (developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, and maintaining them over time)
  6. Resolving conflicts and negotiating with others
  7. Coaching and developing team members (identifying the developmental needs of team members and coaching, mentoring, or otherwise helping team members to improve their knowledge or skills.
Job Requirements:
Essential

  1. Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Banking, Economic or Finance from reputable university.
  2. Minimum four (4) years of banking operation experience, especially in the area of retail banking.
  3. Have good knowledge and understanding on daily banking operation practices and banking products.
  4. High integrity
  5. Good communication and people management as well as interpersonal skill
  6. Good judgment and problem solving skill
  7. Demonstrate high service attitude
  8. High level of English proficiency both verbal and written.
Desirable
  1. Experience in Business Process Improvement and Reengineering preferably within the banking industry.
  2. Project Management experience in any relevant field.
  3. Experience in system integrations and migrations.
